It's an SE tradition of ours to do a "Salubong" on one's birthday. This simply means that we stay up until midnight to welcome the coming of one's birthday. So it started with a nice dinner at Palms Country Club (just my luck the buffet special is MALAYSIAN FOOD! Sate, Chicken rice, Rendang, Papidam and Roti) followed with the midnight salubong at Seattle's Best. The next day for my birthday, my sister and I had a yummy Italliani's meal followed by bonding with Tintin and Jols at Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf. (Indeed, I have gone through all 3 coffee shops in ATC. Starbucks, Seattle's and Coffee Bean, talk about a caffine addiction!) Yes, what a fantastic pre-birthday and birthday celebration! Thanks guys and it's great to be 32 and home!
